Every child learns at their own pace. Typically, children achieve a SwimStar within one semester, but it can take longer or shorter. What's important is that your child has fun and feels safe.

This is where your swimming journey begins. It's about arriving, becoming familiar with the water, and making your first swimming movements.
The blue SwimStar marks the beginning of your swimming education. In this phase, it's about becoming familiar with the water and learning first basic movements. We work playfully on body position, gliding, and first swimming movements.
What We Work On:
- 6 m rocket with crawl legs & breaststroke arms
- 6 m boat with backstroke legs
- Candle jump & dive alone to pool edge
- Retrieve dive stick from approx. 1 m depth

SwimStars Philosophy
Our SwimStars accompany children through their swimming education at Swim4Fun. They show which goals should be achieved in the current group and help children (and parents) understand what is currently being worked on.
When the goals of a badge are met, the child is ready for the next group.

- Does my child need to perfectly fulfill all goals?No, the SwimStars are guidance tools and motivation instruments. We ensure that basic skills are safely mastered before moving to the next level. Perfection is not expected – safety and enjoyment of swimming are the priority.
- When does my child receive the badge?The SwimStar badges are awarded at the end of the semester. Your course instructor will inform you in time when your child is ready to receive the next SwimStar. It's always a special moment for the children!
